The Rhodes men and women's tennis teams traveled to Mississippi on Saturday, March 24th to play Mississippi College and Millsaps.

The day began with the women playing Millsaps on their home courts at 9:00 A.M. while the men playing Mississippi College at their home courts. Both teams had a battle as the women lost a heartbreaker 5-4 to the Majors. At the other site the men were able to pull out a 5-4 victory over Mississippi College. It was a tough way to start off the morning for Rhodes tennis.

In the afternoon the women played Mississippi College and the men went to Millsaps to face the Majors. After having played a match in the morning both Rhodes teams played much better tennis in the afternoon session. The Lady Lynx took down Mississippi College 6-3 while the men defeated Millsaps 8-1.

Both teams were able to see what areas need improvement and what their strengths are. It's great to finish off the weekend playing better than how it started. 

Rhodes tennis will resume play Wednesday, March 28th against Lane College.
