The #30 Rhodes Men's Tennis Team knocked off #25 Dennison 7-2 Monday afternoon in Hilton Head, SC. Another strong doubles performance proved crucial in the win.
After crusing to 8-2 wins at number one and three doubles, the Lynx looked to juniors
Morgan Slevin and
Kevin Duffy for a doubles sweep. The pair trailed 3-0 early before storming back to an 8-6 win.
Needing just two of six singles match to secure a win, the Lynx got a solid performance from Slevin in a straight sets win at number two singles. Senior
Rob Koehler continued his flair for the dramatics, providing the clinching win at number six singles. It was the second time this season Koehler clinched a team win over a nationally ranked opponent.
Rhodes takes on Ithaca college Tuesday morning in Hilton Head.
