In the second round of the first annual Rhodes Indoor Invitatonal the Lynx defeated Birmingham Southern 5-1. Junior
Alice Havner clinched the match with a straight sets victory. Three matches were still in action once Rhodes earned the fifth and decisive point. Senior
Anna Beth Sanford dominated her opponent at line one singles in a 6-0, 6-1 victory. The Lynx moved to 2-0 on the young season.
Next up for the Lynx is the University of Texas – Tyler on February 25
th. That match will be played in Conway, AR at the Hendrix Invitational.
