Lynx Drop Heartbreaker in Five to CBU

McCrury led the team with 31 digs last night against CBU
The Rhodes Volleyball team lost a hard fought battle last night to Christian Brothers University.  After losing the first set 15-25, the Lynx were down 19-12 in set two before coming back to take the second set by the score of 25-23.   The Bucs roared back in set three winning 25-16 while the Lynx battled back to win set four 25-21.  The Bucs jumped out to a quick lead en route to winning the fifth set by the score of 15-7.

Libero Kayla McCrury turned in her 2nd 30+ dig performance of the season anchoring the team's defense with 31 digs.  Freshmen Middle Blocker Stephanie Renner led th team in blocks with 3.  Sophomore Setter Nicole McAlvany led the team wit 27 assists and 2 service aces.

The Lynx travel to Texas this weekend to begin SCAC play at Southwestern University, who will be hosting the SCAC Central-West Divisional.  All matches will take place on Friday and Saturday.
