Junior pitcher Cindy Bitters has been named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team for 2010.  Bitters, an Honorable Mention All-SCAC selection in 2009, underwent Tommy John surgery in August, and did not begin pitching until January.   Her aggressive training schedule and hard work paid off, as she was able to return to the Lynx pitching staff by early March, going 4-0 on the season with a 2.21 ERA, fanning 42 hitters in 31 innings of work. 

She tossed her first career no-hitter on March 11 against Blackburn in just her 3rd start of the season, and followed that with the second no-hitter of her career against Sewanee on April 17.  She was named SCAC Pitcher of the Week for the last week of the regular season, after posting a 2-0 record against Sewanee, giving up just 2 hits on the weekend.
