CONWAY, AR - For the first time in fifteen years, the Rhodes Men's Track & Field team were crowned the SCAC champions. Winning with a grand total of 162 points, 22 points ahead of runner up Depauw, the Lynx outlasted the thunderstorms and foul weather and outperformed the competition. 
    Outstanding individual performances abounded over the span of the two day meet. Event champions included senior co-captain Greg Cook (Bellaire, TX) in the javelin, junior Andrew Maryott (East Dennis, MA) in the hammer throw, senior co-captain Anson Purdy (Wesfield, MA) in the 400m hurdles, and the 4x100m relay team of sophomore Kevin Stechler (Westborough, MA), senior Cory Dardenne (Kingwood, TX), senior Josh McMurray (College Grove, TN), and junior Greg Palm (Merrimack, NH). 
    It was a fantastic finish to an excellent season for the Lynx.
