After suffering their first SCAC loss since the 2007 season, the Depauw Tigers came back with a vengeance today, sweeping a pair of games from Rhodes by scores of 20-0 and 4-1. The Tigers outhit the Lynx 16-3 in game 1 and took advantage of 8 walks by Lynx pitchers en route to the 5-inning mercy rule win. Rhodes bounced back to make game 2 competitive, as the score was tied 1-1 after 3 innings, but the Tigers scored 2 unearned runs in the 4th and added an insurance run in the 5th for the 4-1 win. The games started late due to inclement weather, and game 2 was called after 5 innings because of darkness. Allison Conn was 2 for 3 with a triple and a run scored in game 2, reaching base in all 3 plate appearances to lead the Lynx.
