Rhodes dropped a season-opening doubleheader to Huntingdon this afternoon in Montgomery, AL by scores of 4-1 and 3-1.    After falling behind 4-0 after 3 innings, Rhodes' attempts at a rally were halted by 3 significant baserunning mistakes over the final four innings.  Freshman Katie Stich had a pair of singles and a run scored to pace the Lynx offense.  Huntingdon again jumped out first in game 2, scoring 3 times in the 3rd to take a 3-0 lead.  Rhodes was able to put runners on base, but unable to get the big hit, stranding 8 runners on base.  Senior Armanda Venezia led the offense with a pair of singles.  Rhodes returns to action Sunday with a doubleheader at Lagrange College at 12:30pm.
