Bobby says: “Lizzie is one of the best left backs in the SCAC. Her speed sets her apart and she uses it well to both defend and to get forward into the attack. She has worked to become a complete player who is equally good with either foot and has a deep understanding of her role. She is an exciting player to watch.” 

2007: Fall 2007 SCAC Honor Roll… played and started in all 19 games… scored 2 goals on 14 shots for 4 points… named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week for her performance during the 2-0 shutout of #4 Hardin Simmons in Week 2… named to d3kicks.com Team of the Week for Week 2… scored third goal in 3-0 win over DePauw… scored the 5th goal in the 22nd minute of 8-0 win over ETBU.

2006: Fall 2006 SCAC Academic Honor Roll… started all 19 matches… assisted Katy Joyner in 7-0 win over Oglethorpe… assisted Katy Buckner in 4-0 shutout of Millsaps… scored 1 goal and 2 assists for 4 points… scored game winning goal in 2-1 win over Delta State University.

2005: Fall 2005 SCAC Academic Honor Roll… played in all 17 games… started 15 games at outside back… managed 5 shots on goal from her defender position. Before Rhodes: Sister of former Rhodes baseball MVP Steven Wright ’04, Lizzie comes to Rhodes from the Groton School near Boston, Massachusetts. She played defense for the Lacrosse and Ice Hockey teams at Groton in addition to the soccer team where she earned All-State and All-ISL honors and was the team’s MVP as a junior and a senior.
