Biography

A NCISSA All-State selection from North Carolina, Kate brings versatility and drive to the Lynx midfield. In high school Kate also played soccer at Providence Day and competed for Charlotte Ambush, one of the strongest field hockey clubs in the nation.  At Rhodes, Taylor is known for her hard work  and dedication as she is constantly leading the team on runs and in other workouts. Her speed and consistent stick skills aid in the Lynx’s offensive efforts.Outside of field hockey at Rhodes, Kate is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority, the Lynx Club, and volunteers at a local animal shelter.  Kate majors in Psychology with Spanish and Education minors. Kate is the daughter of Brian and Patty Taylor and the sister of Scott and Kelly.
