Rhodes College Athletics

Grace Whelan hails from Scarborough, Maine where she attended Scarborough High School. During her time at Scarborough High, Grace was a member of both the field hockey and tennis team. Grace was the captain of the field hockey team, and helped lead her team to a State Championship and two Western-Maine Championships. She was named First Team All-State, All-Conference, and was the recipient of the Conference Sportsmanship Award. Grace was also a Western-Maine Champion for Tennis and was named All-State. During her time at Rhodes, Grace was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad and to the Southern Athletic Association Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll. She is a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Rhodes and plans on majoring in Business and Commerce. Her parents are Jamie and Renee Whelan.
