Rhodes College Athletics

Alex brings speed and a strong skill set for Rhodes’ offensive unit. Alex is the daughter of David and Robyn Friedman and has two siblings, Ben (21) and Sami (17).  A four-sport athlete in high school, Alex participated in soccer, basketball, and cross country while also competing in competitive figure skating ages 5-17. In field hockey, she was named Offensive Player of the Year (2010), Coach’s Award (2011), St. Louis Scholar Athlete (2012), and a nominee for the Skippy Keefer Sportsmanship and Athletic Participation Award (2012). While at Rhodes, Alex served as the Assistant Public Relations officer for her sorority, Delta Delta Delta and volunteers at the Grizzlies Prep Academy as a tutor.  Alex pursues a  major in Psychology with a minor in Education. After graduation, she plans on earning her Masters in Special Education in hopes of working in a private practice with children on the Autism spectrum.
