Will is from Dallas, Texas. In high school he was named All-Conference in baseball as a junior and again as a senior. His parents are Bill and Chris Gietema. When not playing baseball for the Lynx, Will enjoys playing guitar, sailing, and traveling. Will is pursuing a major in Business and a minor in International Studies. After graduation, Will plans on finding a job in commercial and residential real estate development.
