Rhodes College Athletics

In Middleburg, Alexandra attended the Foxcroft School, where she excelled as a three-sport athlete and as a student. Alex was named the Most Valuable Player on her volleyball team (2010-2012), named to the First Team All-Conference for volleyball in 2010-2012, named All-Conference for volleyball in 2009-2012, named Second Team All-State for volleyball in 2010-2012, basketball All-Conference in 2011, lacrosse Second Team All-Conference in 2010-2012, and the Overall Best Athlete Award in 2012. Alex was also ranked number 8 in the state of Virginia for assists per set with 522 for volleyball in 2011. Off the field, Alex was awarded the Theresa E. Shook Science Award in 2012 and was on the Honor Roll in 2008-2012. At Rhodes, Alex is an active member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, serves as a Promise Academy volunteer, and volunteers at St. Jude Research Hospital. Alex plans to obtain a double-major in Environmental Studies and International Studies. After graduation, Alex plans to attend graduate school and travel. Alexandra is the daughter of Dan Carr and Suzanne Schindler.
