Biography

A midfielder from Fredericksburg, VA, Mary Rose brings an abundance of talent to the team. Mary Rose was a four year starter, team captain her senior year, and named Team Most Valuable Player in both 2010 and 2011. Additional accolades that she received in high school include VISSA Division II All-State Team (2009-2011), VISSA Division II All-State Tournament Team, and Fredericksburg All-Area Second Team in 2011. Mary Rose was part of the 2008 State Championship team, and helped advance her team to the State Quarter-Finals all four seasons. At Rhodes, she is pursuing a major in Art History and is involved with (ROO) the outdoor club.  Mary Rose is the daughter of Richard and Cheryl Hazel and has five siblings, Caroline, Raleigh, Lucy, John, and Cate.
