Game Recap: Rhodes vs. University of the Ozarks
The Rhodes College women's soccer team delivered a dominant performance on Sept. 4, defeating the University of the Ozarks 5-0 at Rhodes Soccer Field in Memphis, Tenn. The Lynx controlled the match from start to finish, recording 40 shots, including 13 on goal, while limiting Ozarks to just one shot and one shot on goal.

Annie Cimino opened the scoring for the Lynx in the 18th minute, finding the back of the net at 17:39 off an assist from
Kat Stanley.
Hadley Carrington continued her strong start to the season, scoring her third goal of the campaign in the 37th minute off an assist from
Lina Kilgore.
Freshman
Ella Mullally added two goals in the second half. Mullally first scored at 55:35 off Stanley's second assist of the match before adding her second goal at 63:34.
Jane Volf capped the scoring in the 78th minute, finding the back of the net off an assist from
Erin Cliff.
In goal, keeper duo
Gabi Garza and
Lauren Hollis recorded just one save as Rhodes secured its second consecutive shutout to open the season.
Game Highlights
Rhodes wasted little time establishing control, recording 18 shots and four corner kicks in the opening half. Cimino broke through in the 18th minute before Carrington doubled the advantage with just over eight minutes remaining before halftime.
The Lynx continued their offensive dominance after the break, with Mullally scoring twice in an eight-minute span to push the lead to 4-0. Volf added the final goal in the 78th minute to complete the scoring.
Rhodes finished with a commanding 40-1 advantage in shots and earned 11 corner kicks while holding Ozarks without a corner kick. The Lynx also limited the Eagles to just one shot on goal.
