Game Recap: Rhodes vs. LeTourneau University
The Rhodes College men's soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 3-0 shutout victory over LeTourneau on September 20 at Rhodes Soccer Field. The Lynx improved to 4-0-3 on the season with the win.

Brody Douglass opened the scoring in the 26th minute, finding the back of the net at 25:48 off an assist from Ben Novello. Cooper Koerlin doubled the Rhodes advantage at 56:28, scoring with an assist from Pierce Miller.
Senior Luke Grant capped the scoring at 66:08, converting a penalty kick for his fifth goal of the season.
Rhodes finished with a 14-4 advantage in shots, including a 10-2 edge in shots on goal. The Lynx also recorded two saves defensively and earned two corner kicks.

Rhodes controlled the contest from the opening whistle, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime following Douglass' goal. The Lynx added two goals in the second half, with Koerlin extending the lead before Grant's penalty-kick goal sealed the 3-0 victory.
The Rhodes defense held LeTourneau without a goal and limited the Yellow Jackets to just two shots on goal. Rhodes recorded its first shutout of the season.
The victory provided a strong Senior Day performance for the Lynx, who remained unbeaten through seven matches at 4-0-3.
