Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Belhaven University
The Rhodes College men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Belhaven on September 23 at Rhodes Soccer Field. The Lynx moved to 4-1-3 on the season following the hard-fought contest.

Vincent Stephens put Rhodes on the scoreboard first, finding the back of the net on a free kick at 53:01 to give the Lynx a 1-0 advantage.
Belhaven answered with goals in the 61st and 81st minutes to take the lead. Rhodes finished with 11 shots, including six on goal, while Belhaven also recorded 11 shots with seven on frame.
Game Highlights
After a scoreless first half, Stephens nailed a free kick to brake through early in the second half and give Rhodes the lead. Belhaven responded less than eight minutes later to level the match before scoring the eventual game-winning goal at 81:12.
Rhodes continued to pressure late, matching Belhaven with five corner kicks and recording five saves defensively, but the Lynx were unable to find a second goal.
