On a blustery, windy day at Tunica National Golf Club Rhodes stands in 3rd place behind Christian Brothers and Mississippi College.
In the morning round, 1st-year
Catie Bernoski shot 76, her collegiate low round, to lead the Lynx. Catie's round included two birdies.
"Catie did great managing the windy conditions," said head coach
Mike Clary.
In round 2 in the afternoon, the wind did not let up. Junior Co-Captain
Lauren Schwing and 1st year
Kaylie Hui both shot 78.
"I was really proud of our teams focus and resilience in very tough playing conditions," said Coach Clary. "This tournament and the windy conditions is great preparation for the SAA Championship at Greystone, where the wind has been known to blow hard as well."
Lee and Joe Duncan have for years been great supporters of Rhodes and the Women's Golf program. Our team was thrilled to have Lee and Joe in the gallery today.
