Women's Lacrosse Pulls Away from Meredith With Big Fourth Quarter

Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Meredith College

In a high-intensity matchup filled with momentum swings and a dominant late surge, Rhodes defeated Meredith College by a final score of 22–12 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The contest remained tightly contested through three quarters before the Lynx erupted for 11 goals in the fourth quarter.

Key Performances

Sam Horowitz led the scoring effort for the Lynx, recording five goals and one assist while consistently finding openings in the Meredith defense. His finishing ability helped Rhodes build momentum during critical stretches of the game.

Delaney O'Mailey delivered an outstanding all-around offensive performance, finishing with three goals and four assists for a team-high seven points, helping orchestrate the Lynx attack and creating scoring opportunities for teammates.

Sadie McRae also played a pivotal role with three goals and two assists, while Payton Stevens added three goals to the Rhodes scoring effort. Defensive Effort

Maddie BeVier led the defensive unit with five caused turnovers and six ground balls, repeatedly disrupting Meredith's offensive possessions. Rory Monahan and Sam Horowitz each added five ground balls, while Daryn Raleigh contributed four ground balls to help the Lynx maintain defensive pressure throughout the game.

In goal, Annabelle Kinzel anchored the defense with a full 60-minute performance, recording four saves to earn the win. Her steady presence helped the Lynx weather Meredith's early offensive runs and maintain control as Rhodes pulled away in the second half.

Game Highlights
