Men’s Basketball Lands Multiple on SAA All-Conference Teams; Goodson Named Coaching Staff of the Year

The Southern Athletic Association has announced its 2025–26 Men's Basketball All-Conference teams, with Rhodes College earning major recognition following a championship-caliber regular season.

Head coach Zo Goodson and his staff were named the SAA Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Lynx to a 21–4 overall record and a share of the SAA Regular Season Championship. Rhodes led the conference in scoring margin (+15.0), averaging 83.1 points per game while limiting opponents to just 68.2 points per contest. The Lynx also shot .451 from the field and .366 from three-point range as a team, showcasing efficiency and balance on the offensive end.
 

First Team All-Conference

Dotson paced the Lynx offensively, averaging 21.2 points per game while shooting .450 from the floor and .367 from beyond the arc. He totaled 424 points on the season and added 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest, emerging as one of the league's most consistent scoring threats.

Huxtable averaged 16.3 points per game and knocked down 39.1 percent of his three-point attempts. In addition to his scoring production, he contributed 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game, providing a strong two-way presence throughout conference play.

Second Team All-Conference

Shawn Jones Jr. earned Second Team All-Conference honors after averaging 10.6 points and a team-best 6.2 rebounds per game. Jones shot an efficient .492 from the field and .423 from three-point range, anchoring the Lynx in the paint while stretching the floor offensively.

All-Sportsmanship Team

Cass Ramberg represented Rhodes on the All-Sportsmanship Team, an honor voted on by conference head coaches that recognizes student-athletes who exemplify integrity, leadership, and respect for the game.

With multiple First and Second Team selections and the league's top coaching honor, Rhodes enters the SAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed, carrying momentum and confidence into postseason competition.
