The Rhodes men's cross country team delivered a strong showing in the annual Rhodes Invitational, finishing 5th overall with 147 points in a competitive field that featured Division I and regional opponents.
Junior Diego Donald led the way, placing 16th overall in 26:23.2. He was followed closely by Jack Sullivan (24th, 26:40.4) and Daniel Blaich (28th, 26:52.2), giving Rhodes three runners inside the top 30.
Anderson Frank (38th, 27:03.9) and Jack Hinds (52nd, 27:34.8) rounded out the scoring five, helping the Lynx secure a spot in the top half of the team standings.
Additional Rhodes finishers included Owen Foster (59th, 27:46.3), Max Barcan (61st, 27:48.7), Jack Biewer (66th, 28:08.9), Mercer Murphy (74th, 28:32.4), and Ian McCormack (75th, 28:40.6), all finishing under 29 minutes.
The Lynx also had solid depth with Jack Herman (79th, 29:11.5), Daze Evans (93rd, 30:06.0), and Collin Dillingham (101st, 31:27.2) completing the squad's efforts.
Rhodes will be back on the course October 4 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic.
