The Rhodes men's cross country team turned in a strong performance at the 2025 SAA Championships, finishing fourth overall with a team score of 95 points. The meet, hosted by Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, featured competitive fields and fast times across the 8K course.
Junior Diego Donald led the Lynx with a 12th-place finish in 26:04.2, followed closely by senior Owen Foster in 14th (26:09.2) and sophomore Jack Hinds in 15th (26:09.3). Senior Daniel Blaich contributed a 19th-place finish in 26:16.2, while junior Jack Biewer rounded out the scoring in 50th with a time of 27:25.1.
Freshman Anderson Frank (27:41.8) and junior Max Barcan (27:42.8) provided key depth, with sophomore Ian McCormack (27:53.4) and freshmen Daze Evans, Collin Dillingham, and Mercer Murphy also racing strong for Rhodes.
The Lynx showed impressive pack running, placing four runners in the top 20 and finishing just behind Berry and Centre in the team standings.
Donald, Foster, and Hinds all earned a spot on the SAA Honorable Mention Team.
Donald also earned All-Sportsmanship Team Honors.
Rhodes' fourth-place finish capped an outstanding conference season for the Lynx. The men now turn their focus to the NCAA Regional Championships in Salem, Virginia on November 15.
