The 2025-2026 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Eligible nominees will be based off
TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Note: Only individual ranked performances are to be used for eligibility. If a student-athlete has participated in a
RELAY EVENT, that can bolster the nomination but the basic criteria to be met is for
INDIVIDUAL performances. Relays cannot be the basis for eligibility.
- NCAA institutions:
- Cross Country - Top-50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year
- Track - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
- NAIA institutions: Top-25 in conference in single event (indoor or outdoor)
- College Division: Appear in national ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Freeman was selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 15, 2026.
