Rhodes Athletics is proud to announce that Ava Bankston, a standout member of the Lynx women's golf team, has been recognized with national honors by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for the 2024–25 season.

Bankston was named to the WGCA All-Region Team for Region 2/Southeast, and also earned WGCA All-American Honorable Mention—a prestigious acknowledgment of her outstanding performance throughout the year. 

These awards place Bankston among the elite in Division III collegiate women's golf, reflecting her consistency, leadership, and competitive excellence during the season. The WGCA annually honors top student-athletes and coaches across the country for their achievements both on and off the course.
