The Rhodes College Baseball team played a midweek game against the MUW Owls as they looked to continue their success following their series victory against Millsaps. The Rhodes offense was the story in this game as they plated 10 total runs, an insurmountable lead. Ben Burkhart began the scoring party with an RBI double in the bottom of the 3rd. Burkhart would later come around to score on a Ben Daniel stolen base. Ben Burkhart then drove in his 2nd RBI of the contest in the form of a sacrifice fly, scoring Cooper Kuriger. Ben Daniel singled to right field in the bottom of the 4th, plating Malcolm Rohlfing.

After the Owls scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th, the Lynx held a 5-2 lead. A bases loaded walk from Ben Burkhart followed by a Ben Daniel sacrifice fly to left field extended the lead to 7-2. Brandon Trichell would go on to clear the bases in the bottom of the 6th with a 2 run double.

The offensive onslaught would prove to be all the Lynx needed to claim the victory over the Owls by a final score of 10-3. The Lynx will host the Owls once again on Tuesday, April 22nd at Stauffer Field. First pitch is scheduled for 3pm and coverage can be found on the Lynx Live Network.
