Rhodes Triumphs Over DePauw

The Rhodes Lynx delivered a commanding performance on March 19, 2025, at Mason Field in Memphis, Tennessee, clinching a 19–12 victory over the DePauw Tigers. From the opening whistle, Rhodes set the tone with dynamic plays and relentless energy.

Amelia Giese opened the scoring early in the first period, and Caroline Kardian quickly established herself as a force, contributing a remarkable five goals throughout the game. Rhodes capitalized on key moments, with Delaney O'Mailey orchestrating plays and assisting on multiple crucial goals. The Lynx's depth shone brightly, with ten players, including Riley Schutt and Nur Hamada, finding the back of the net.

Despite a spirited effort from DePauw, Rhodes maintained their edge with a mix of unassisted strikes and well-coordinated teamwork. Their defense was disciplined, and their offense capitalized on every opportunity, including two goals during player-up scenarios.

The Lynx's composure and offensive strategy, led by Kardian and Giese, secured a decisive victory, solidifying their dominance on their home turf.

The Lynx will aim to carry this momentum into their upcoming challenge as they kick off SAA conference play against Sewanee on March 29 at noon.
