Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Rhodes Drops Contest to Dickinson

In Panama City Beach Florida, the Rhodes Lynx took the field against Dickinson, ready for a battle that would test their resolve. From the start, Dickinson's offense came out strong, taking an early lead. But Rhodes wasn't there to back down.

Late in the first quarter, as the Lynx trailed 0-2, Caroline Kardian found her moment. Breaking past her defender, she scored two quick, unassisted goals, bringing the game to an even 2-2 and injecting energy into the Rhodes sideline. Though Dickinson regained the lead before the quarter ended, the Lynx had shown they weren't going to go quietly.

Anna Erskine added a goal in the second quarter, finding a gap in the defense to keep Rhodes in the game. Delaney O'Mailey followed suit in the third and fourth quarters, scoring twice with determined solo efforts. Meanwhile, Rhodes' defense worked tirelessly, weathering penalties and a relentless Dickinson attack. Players like Molly Heidrick and Bari Pinkett stepped up under pressure, making key stops and forcing turnovers to give the Lynx chances to stay in the fight.

Though Dickinson's depth and consistency allowed them to pull ahead, Rhodes never wavered. With less than a minute remaining, Caroline Kardian struck again, capping off her three-goal performance with a final, well-earned score.

The Lynx will look to bounce back when they take on Mount Union at 4pm on March 13 at Mason Field.
