On February 5, 2025, the Rhodes College Lynx put on a commanding performance at Mallory Gymnasium, defeating Hendrix College 103-68 in front of an energized home crowd. Rhodes improved to a 12-10 overall record and 5-4 in the SAA, while Hendrix fell to 2-20 and 0-9 in the conference.

Rhodes displayed a balanced offensive attack, with Shawn Jones Jr. and Kaleb Green leading the charge, each scoring 21 points. Jones Jr. was particularly efficient, shooting 9-of-10 from the field, while Green added five three-pointers. The team's depth shone brightly, contributing 43 points off the bench, with Zavien Williams chipping in 15 and Murray Norman adding 12 on 4-5 shooting from beyond the arc.
