DANVILLE, Ky. - After four days of competition, the Southern Athletic Association Swim and Dive Championships have come to a close.
The Lynx finished second overall at the Championship, with a score of 971.5 falling just short of Centre's 1000 point score.
Freshman,
Lucy Verwys, swept the dives and was named the High Point Diver of the Year by the SAA.
Highlights:
Taylor Mcnerney placed first (17:53.86) in the 1650 freestyle.
Gracie Shapard placed first (2:03.73) in the 200 back.
Eliza Hulverson placed second (52.02) in the 100 freestyle.
Adeline Carroll placed first (2:20.14) in the 200 breaststroke.
Autumn Bruns placed second (2:21.42) in the 200 breaststroke.
Paxton Smythe placed third (2:11.14) in the 200 butterfly.
Hulverson, Smythe, Shapard, Carroll placed first (3:29.36) in the 400 free relay.
