Game Recap: Rhodes vs. LaGrange
In a back-and-forth matchup decided in the final minutes, Rhodes fell 66–64 on the road at LaGrange on November 21. The Lynx opened strong with a 21-point first quarter and held the lead for much of the night, but a LaGrange surge in the second half swung the contest late.

The Lynx battled back with 22 fourth-quarter points, their highest of any period, and cut the deficit to a single possession in the final minute. Despite the late push, LaGrange held on after taking its largest lead—nine points—with 2:01 remaining.
Rhodes finished the night shooting 41%, outrebounding LaGrange 41–38, and scoring 34 points in the paint, but three made threes on 21 attempts proved the difference in a tight road battle.
Game Recap: Rhodes vs. Emory
In a fast-paced matchup on November 23 at the Woodruff P.E. Center, the Rhodes College women's basketball team fell to Emory 102–60. The Lynx opened with competitive stretches in the first half, including a strong offensive second quarter, but the Eagles' shooting runs across the middle quarters created the separation that decided the game.
Key Performances
Avery Marsh led the scoring effort for Rhodes, totaling 20 points on 7–17 shooting, including 2–4 from three, while adding 5 assists and playing a team-high 29 minutes.
In the frontcourt, Alyssa Bongiovanni turned in an all-around performance with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals, giving the Lynx a consistent inside presence at both ends.
Off the bench, Kelsey Willingham delivered one of the night's most efficient outings, posting 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in 24 minutes. Juliet Howell added another boost with 9 points on 3–5 shooting.
Defensively, Rhodes was active on the glass, finishing with 38 total rebounds, highlighted by contributions from Bongiovanni (7), Vlahakos (5), McKown (5), and Milam (4).
Game Highlights
Rhodes' best run came in the second quarter, where the Lynx shot 47% from the field and knocked down four threes, generating their strongest offensive rhythm of the afternoon. Marsh controlled much of the pace during this stretch, while Howell and Willingham provided timely scoring.
Although Emory's efficiency from the perimeter eventually widened the margin, the Lynx continued to attack the paint, finishing with 26 points inside and 23 points from the bench.
