The Rhodes Men's Golf team put together an outstanding performance this week at the West Pines Collegiate, capturing the team championship with a commanding finish at 6-under par (−6). The Lynx led wire-to-wire, holding the top spot across all three rounds and ultimately securing the victory by nine strokes.

From the opening tee shot, Rhodes looked sharp and confident. The Lynx set the tone in Round 1, posting a blistering 278 (−6) to grab the lead early. Parker Tenent Jr. and Christian Iwai paced the team with strong individual rounds, carding scores of 66 (−5) and 68 (−3), respectively. Both players displayed consistency from start to finish, with Tenent recording matching 33s on each nine and Iwai balancing his round with a pair of 34s. Chase Austin added an even-par 71, while Kohen Yeske contributed a 75 (+4) and Josh Phillips finished with an 83 (+12). Competing individually, Andrew Clark opened his tournament with an 80 (+9).

Rhodes carried that momentum into Round 2, maintaining its position at the top of the leaderboard with a steady even-par (284) team performance. Iwai followed up his opening round with a 69 (−2), highlighted by sharp approach shots and steady putting to stay near the top of the individual standings. Tenent stayed consistent with an even-par 71, while Yeske responded with one of his strongest collegiate rounds, matching Tenent at 71 (E). Austin posted a 73 (+2), and Phillips turned in a 74 (+3) to round out the scoring. Clark also made a strong bounce-back effort, improving by seven strokes with a 73 (+2) as an individual.

Heading into the final round with a comfortable lead, the Lynx focused on closing out their dominant week. The team shot a 292 (+8) in Round 3, finishing with a total score of 853 (−6) to secure the tournament title. Tenent once again led the way with a composed 70 (−1), finishing the event at 6-under (−6) to take second place overall. Iwai followed closely behind, recording a 71 (E) to claim third place at 5-under (−5). Both Tenent and Iwai were recognized for their performances by being named to the All-Tournament Team.

Phillips capped his tournament with a strong 73 (+2), showing improvement with each round, while Austin and Yeske each carded 78 (+7) to complete Rhodes' scoring lineup. Clark wrapped up his individual effort with a 77 (+6), continuing his steady progression over the three rounds.

Rhodes' depth and composure proved to be the difference at West Pines. With two players finishing inside the top three and all five scoring golfers contributing at key moments, the Lynx displayed the kind of balanced, disciplined play that has become a hallmark of their program.

The victory adds another impressive chapter to an already strong fall season for Rhodes, who continue to build momentum behind the lineup and consistent team chemistry.
