The Rhodes men's cross country team delivered a gritty team performance in a highly competitive 8K Blue race, the Louisville Cross Country Classic, featuring nearly 300 runners. The Lynx packed well through the middle of the field and saw several athletes make significant moves over the final kilometers, showing depth and late-race strength.

Junior Diego Donald led the way as the top Rhodes finisher, crossing the line in 50th place with a time of 25:59.8. Donald surged past more than 20 runners after the 2.1k mark and held his position through the finish, breaking 26 minutes and setting the tone for the squad.

Senior Daniel Blaich followed in 87th place at 26:20.7, using a steady pace and strong second half to move up the field. Fellow senior Jack Sullivan was close behind in 98th at 26:24.5, staying consistent throughout the race and closing hard to secure a top-100 finish.

Freshman Anderson Frank stepped up as the top first-year finisher for Rhodes, running 27:23.6 for 220th place, gaining valuable experience against a deep field. Sophomore Jack Hinds finished just behind in 229th at 27:29.9, making late moves to support the team scoring.

Senior Owen Foster added depth with a 237th-place finish in 27:36.7, while junior Max Barcan rounded out the lineup in 268th at 27:55.1, giving Rhodes a complete team effort across the board.

The Lynx showed promise with strong leadership up front, pack running through the middle, and contributions from all experience levels. The performance highlighted the team's growing depth and momentum as they continue through the season.
