The lady lynx won in eastern Tennessee against the Sewanee tigers. The team fought hard this past weekend to defeat the Tigers, appearing in first place for a majority of the meet, while taking the entire podium for 2 events.
Within the first event the Lynx had a stand out performance, with the 200 Yard Medley A team (Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe, Taylor Mcnerney, Eliza Hulverson) besting their previous meet time with a 1:53.26 time. The B team (Mariam Hadaegh, Autumn Bruns, Kate Pierros, Annie Murer) finished in third with a time of 1:57.30. The 200 Yard Freestyle relay featured the Rhodes Swimmers in first and third place. The A team (Paxton Smythe, Eliza Hulverson, Gracie Shapard, MacKenzie Roach) finished with 1:43.17, and the B team (Kate Pierros, Annie Murer, Calista Kelner, Abby Carter) with a time of 1:47.82.
On the diving side, the Women had a great advantage, with Lucy Verwys taking first for the 1 meter dive (439.28) and 2nd in the 3 meter dive (210.90)
