Freshman defender Matthew Sucato finished the opportunity after a recycled corner kick with Senior Evan Buecker providing his second assist in two games This marked Sucato's first collegiate goal for the Lynx. After holding off the Scots and not allowing many shots for the majority of the match, Rhodes doubled down after scoring a second in the 85th minute. Senior Forward Max McLarty snatched his first goal of the season from an assist by Freshman Midfielder Kaleb Dawit. Despite conceding in the 87th minute, the Lynx were able to see the match through to secure the 2-1 over No. 25 Covenant.
