The Lynx returned home to conclude the regular season with a single-game contest against the Mississippi University for Women Owls. Both offenses had solid days at the plate, but the Lynx eventually prevailed in extra innings.

The first run of the game came in the top of the 4th when the Owls took a 1-0 lead, but the Lynx quickly responded in the bottom half by putting up 2 runs of their own thanks to an RBI from Quinn Blackman. The Owls would go on to take the lead right back in the top of the 6th, but the Lynx once again returned a quick response as Ben Burkhart lined a single through the right side to plate Brandon Trichell. From there, the Owls would go up 6-3, and the Lynx found themselves in a hole with only 6 outs remaining. Clutch hits from Quinn Blackman, Brandon Trichell, and Corbin Kinder charted the course for the Lynx to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th, sending the game to extra innings.

The Owls would score in the top of the 10th, but the Lynx were unphased as an RBI fielders choice from Clay Richardson brought the teams back to even. With the Lynx down to their final out, Charlie Meyer smoked a base hit to right field, allowing Malcolm Rohlfing to score and walk off the game in the bottom of the 10th. The final score resulted in an 8-7 Lynx victory.

This game concluded the Lynx's 2024 regular season. They will travel to Birmingham-Southern College this weekend to kick off the conference tournament.
