The scoring started in the first, with Dante Messina knocking an RBI single into right center, then Nick Barber scored on a crafty double steal involving Messina drawing a throw to second during the next at bat.Â

In the third, Daniel Hicks crushed a massive 2-Run HR over the left field fence, extending the lead.Â

In the fifth, Malcolm Rohlfing singled to center, scoring Quinn Blackman from third. Rohlfing additionally laid down a squeeze bunt down the first baseline in the sixth, scoring Blackman again.Â

In the eighth, a SAC fly from Daniel Hicks tallied the Lynx' seventh run, capping off a 3-RBI day for the Senior.Â

On the pitching side, Hank Shield opened for the Lynx, going three innings of 1 hit, shutout ball. In relief of Shield was Colby Slaughter, who pitched 2 innings, giving up 1 run. Next up was Reid Lampert, who gave up 2 runs on a homer from Millsaps 3rd baseman Gray Berry. Finally, William May pitched the final two innings, tallying three strikeouts and sealing the series win for the Lynx.Â
