Lynx Falter in Weekend Finale

The Lynx couldn't finish out the weekend strong as they fell to Webster University by a score of 7-3. 

 

Noah Roland started for the Lynx, going 4 innings and giving up 3, while striking out 5. Thomas LeMaster came in in relief, tossing a solid 2 ⅔ only allowing 1 run. Hank Shield, Reid Lampert, and Kevin Barnett all made appearances as well. 

 

On the offensive side, the Lynx just couldn't do what they usually do, only scratching across 3 runs. The first came on a solo homer from Corbin Kinder in the second, and the other two in the 7th on a 2 RBI single by Dante Messina. 

The Lynx move to 5-3 on the season. 

 

The Lynx will be back in action this Tuesday at Belhaven University for their first road trip of the year, looking to come home with a couple more wins under their belt.
