Lynx Fall to Bears

On December 30th, 2024, Rhodes College fell to Berea College 46-35 in their second game of the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tenn. 

Key Performers:
  • AC Milam – 6 points, 4 rebounds, 35 minutes
    Milam played the full game, leading the Lynx in scoring. She contributed both offensively and defensively, staying active throughout despite shooting struggles.

  • Giana Vlahakos – 5 points, 9 rebounds
    Vlahakos was a force on the boards, grabbing a team-high 9 rebounds. Her efforts on the glass helped Rhodes stay competitive, but her scoring was limited to just 5 points.

  • Malea Graves – 8 points, 2 rebounds
    Coming off the bench, Graves provided a spark for Rhodes with 8 points in 21 minutes, showing efficiency with a 3-4 shooting performance.

  • Kelsey Willingham – 6 points, 2 rebounds
    Willingham was one of the few bright spots offensively, scoring 6 points in 13 minutes. She was active on both ends, though Rhodes struggled to convert on their scoring chances.

Rhodes fell to Berea 46-35 in a tough battle at Trojan Fieldhouse. The Lynx struggled offensively, shooting just 36.6% from the field and 16.7% from three. AC Milam led the team with 6 points, while Giana Vlahakos added 5 points and a team-high 9 rebounds.

Despite the shooting woes, Rhodes kept the game close with strong rebounding, outpacing Berea 35-29 on the glass. Malea Graves was a bright spot off the bench, contributing 8 points in 21 minutes. The Lynx also scored 24 points in the paint, but 25 turnovers limited their offensive opportunities.
