Despite falling 55 points short to the Statesmen, the Lynx fought hard and took the majority of the podium for 3 events, and took second or third place for nearly all of the other events. The Swim and Dive team took first place for 7 events for the women (2 medley relays, 5 individual).
First for the team events, the women took 1st for both the 200 Meter Medley relay and took 1st and 3rd in the 400 Yard Freestyle relay. In the 200 Medley relay, the A team (Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe, Eliza Hulverson, Adeline Carroll) took first, ahead by 5 seconds, with a time of 1:45.18. In the 400 Freestyle relay, the A team (Eliza Hulverson, MacKenzie Roach, Adeline Carroll, Paxton Smythe) finished 7 seconds ahead of the statesmen the statement with a time of 3:32.07, and the B team (Taylor Mcnerney, Calista Kelner, Kate Pierros, Annie Murer) took third place with a time of 3:46.90.
For our women diver, Anabelle Morle took second place in the 3 meter diving event (229.58) and in the 1 meter diving (237.00), finishing the event with a total of 456.58

Rhodes will be heading back to Delta State University on November 22nd and competing through the 24th. The teams have faced the Statesmens extensively in the past 25 years, and just faced a loss with a 55 point margin. Fans are encouraged to support the team during this multi-school wide meet, expected to be full of phenomenal performances for both the swimmers and divers.
