Saturday, November 30th, the Rhodes College Lynx took on the University of Chicago Maroons in Mallory Gymnasium in Memphis, Tennessee, for their All-Academic Classic Tournament.

Key Performances:
- Shawn Jones Jr. was the leading scorer for the Lynx with 11 points and 8 rebounds
- Cass Ramberg did it all for the Lynx. He recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds, one assists, and two steals

The first half started with a put-back layup off his own missed layup from the starting forward Jack Dempsey. However, the Maroons responded seconds later with a three-pointer from their left wing. The Lynx struggled offensively due to the Maroon's length and packed in paint defense.

The Lynx got good scoring opportunities going downhill, but were met immediately by the Maroons' standing in the paint. Despite their offensive struggles, the first half was competitive, as the Lynx's defensive tenacity made their opponents work for every bucket they got. Rhodes kept the high-powered offense of the Maroons to only 36 points to end the half, as they scored 34.

Much of the second half was the same story. Rhodes's defense challenged the Maroons, but their stagnant offense, turnovers and heavily contested shots at the end of the shot clock led to easy fast-break points for their opponents. With 15 minutes to go, the Lynx found themselves on the end of a run that caused them to go down by 12 points. The Lynx tried to battle back, but their turnovers led to devastating three-pointers from Chicago.
