The lynx return from their venture out to Mississippi with a 2nd place finish out of 8 competitors over the 3-days of vigorous competition. The meet had swimmers compete in categories (A, B, C, and D), with the Lynx appearing in the top 3 in nearly every string for each event. In regards to the overall scores, the Lynx were on the podium for 16 events.
In the team events, the Lynx second for the 200 Yard Freestyle in the A string (Eliza Hulverson, Paxton Smythe, Adeline Carroll, Gracie Shapard) with a time of 1:34.72. In the 400 Yard Medley, the ladies clutched first place in the A string (Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe, Eliza Hulverson, Adeline Carroll) with a comfortable time of 3:47.87. The lynx secured yet another 2nd place finish in the 200 Yard Medley (Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe, Eliza Hulverson, Adeline Carroll)(1:43.58). The final relay event of the weekend had the women finishing in 2nd place (Eliza Hulverson, Gracie Shapard, Adeline Carroll, Paxton Smythe) with a strong time of 3:26.97.
For Women's Diving, Anabelle Morlé gave a strong performance, taking 2nd place for both the 1 and 3 Meter diving competitions (419.25 and 346.25, respectively). Lucy Verwys secured some more points for the lynx with a solid 365.15 score.

The Lynx plan on starting off the new year strong as they prepare to fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico over winter break. The meet will be on January 3rd @ 1:00 p.m. CT, and is bound to have many stand out performances.
