Sophomore Sam Holke has been named the CFHC Defensive Athlete of the Week after an exceptional weekend performance, helping the Lynx secure two shutout victories. Holke, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, played a pivotal role in the Lynx's dominant 7-0 win over Concordia and 6-0 triumph over Marian.
Stepping into a new position, Holke proved to be a cornerstone of the defense, excelling in the midfield. Her disruptive play stifled both opponents, preventing them from generating any attack penalty corners throughout the weekend. Her leadership and defensive prowess were critical in maintaining the Lynx's flawless record and cementing their defensive dominance.
