Women's: Women's Swim & Dive Conquer The UT Southern Firehawks
The Lady Lynx took a win against the Firehawks in the pool on October 19th, taking the entire podium for 7 events, with the remaining events having first place appearances from Rhodes.
Within the first event the Lynx had a stand out performance, with the 200 Meter Medley A team (Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe, Eliza Hulverson, and Adeline Carroll) coming in first with a time of 2:03.94 The B team (Mackenzie Roach, Autumn Bruns, Kate Pierros, Calista Kellner) followed behind with a 2:10.31. In the 400 Freestyle relay, the A team (Eliza Hulverson, Adeline Carroll, Gracie Shapard, Paxton Smythe ) took first with a time of 4:14.81, and had a close second from team B (MacKenzie Roach, Calista Kelner, Annie Murer, Taylor Mcnerney) finishing only a second after them (4:17.85).

Looking Ahead:
Rhodes will be heading to Delta State University on November 9th at 12:00 P.M.. The teams have faced the Statesmens extensively in the past 25 years, and have yet to best the statesmen. The meet is expected to show great determination and endurance in the swim lanes, with the lynx hoping to secure their first win against the statesmen. Fans are encouraged to support the team.
