Men's Soccer face a Loss Against the Berry Vikings

The Lynx faced a close loss against the Berry Vikings on Sunday, October 13th, while in Georgia. With the final score being 2-3, the Lynx put up a strong fight against the vikings, never giving up. 

Match Recap: Rhodes v. Berry
The lynx faced their first conference loss on October 13th while in Georgia facing the Berry Vikings. With the close game, many key performers stood out while on the field. Max McLarty led the lynx with a goal in the first 10 minutes of the half, which was assisted by Ben Novello and Hardy Smith. Berry scored a goal 30 minutes into the game, which brought the game to a tie of 1-1. Rhodes responded quickly to this tie and scored their second goal of the game hardly a minute after the goal. The goal was shot by Charlie Herring, a first year, and assisted by Mason Tucker. The half ends with the Lynx up by one.
In the second half, the Lynx had consistent attempts at attempted shots, but fell short at achieving any more goals for the game. Berry scored another goal from a penalty kick in the second half, bringing the game to a tie once more. Though the lynx fought hard defnesively to prevent any more goals from scoring, the Vikings managed to squeeze in a final goal with ten minutes left on the clock, which gave Berry the lead and the win for the match.
