No stranger to quick turnarounds, Rhodes squared up vs. the Tigers of Sewanee less than 24
hours after their one-goal loss to Centre. Rhodes shined in the 1st half with 3 goals a piece in
each of the first two quarters, while Sewanee scored 3 of their own. In the second half, Sewanee
chipped away at the margin and equalized the score at 8-8 with 3:15 left in the 4th. A timely
timeout in the final minute saw Rhodes with the ball; 3 shots were fired off but to no avail as the
clock ran out. Sewanee won the opening draw in sudden death overtime and quickly got their
offense set. An insolation dodge down the left wing with a quick shot past the Rhodes netminder
saw a flurry of purple and gold rush the field. Rhodes looks to get back on track in a non-
conference matchup vs. Southwestern University on April 8th.Â
