In the second weekend of the SAA conference play, the Rhodes Lynx, hosted the Colonels of
Centre College. It was a contested matchup with physical play and 27 points scored between
the two teams. Centre, the aggressor in the 1st half, challenged the Lynx with an offensive burst
of 8 goals. The score was 8-5 for a Centre lead headed into the second half. Rhodes quickly
answered with their offensive rally, winning the second half and cutting the gap to 1. A timely
goal by Centre in the 4th quarter saw them run out the clock, knocking off Rhodes 14-13.
