The Rhodes College Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Jackson, MS, this weekend to compete against Millsaps College in a dual meet. The Lynx, after this weekend, both improved to a 7-0 overall record.
The men competed well and had athletes finish first in all but three events. The women finished first in every single event they competed in this weekend. Zach Gilmore improved his time in the 400-meter IM to 4:41.20, which is the best time in the event of this season. Ainsley Clark set the best time in the 200 backstroke this season at 2:15.56. MacKenzie Roach raced the best time for this season in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:29.5. In the 400 IM, Adeline Carol raced her best time for the season for the Lynx at 4:40.00. Many other Lynx raced personal bests this weekend as well.
The men's final score was 173 to 59, and the women's final score was 211 to 37. The Lynx are still undefeated on the season after the Millsaps dual meet and will begin preparing for their next competition, the Delta State Invite. The meet will take place in Cleveland, MS, November 17th - November 19th and features many of the best teams in the mid-south region.
