Rhodes was on the road this weekend in Wisconsin, taking on Concordia University and Marian University. Rhodes defeated Concordia 5-2 on Saturday and fell to Marian 1-2 on Sunday.
Against Concordia, the Lynx quickly jumped to a 3-0 lead within the first 10 minutes.
Sophie Croci scored twice, and
Elinor West scored as well. The Lynx then traded goals with Concordia, with the Falcons scoring in the 19th minute, and then
Alder Dickey scoring for the Lynx. The Falcons scored again late, but another Lynx goal from
Sophie Croci quickly countered it.
Rose Martin also had five saves from goal this game. Rhodes took home the victory in this one, 5-2.
Against Marian on Sunday,
Darian Smith scored the lone Lynx goal.
Rose Martin posted eight saves, but the Lynx unfortunately fell 1-2.
Next weekend, the Lynx travel to Sewanee to take on the Tigers in the final regular season matchup before returning home for SAA playoffs the following weekend.
