This past weekend, Rhodes Field Hockey was on the road for the final regular season game against Sewanee in Sewanee, Tennessee. Rhodes returned home with another game in the win column, taking a 4-0 victory.
This Lynx victory was a team effort, as each goal was scored by a different Lynx player. Only 3 minutes into the game,
Bella Spina scored to put the Lynx up 1-0. The Lynx then quickly scored two more goals before halftime, with
Alder Dickey and
Grace Utz scoring with assists on both goals by
Ellie Pratka.
In the 51st minute,
Sheela Vasan added on another goal to bring the Lynx up to 4-0.
Rose Martin had 2 saves in this game.
The Lynx are now 12-4 on the season and 6-2 in conference play. Next weekend, the Lynx return home to compete in the SAA tournament.
